Clinical Services Supervisor KY 908 KAR 1:370 requirements for non-medical and non-hospital based alcohol and other drug treatment programs

This course meets the Clinical Services Supervisor 12 hour CE requirement for 908 KAR 1:370 Licensing Procedures and Standards for persons and agencies operating non-medical and non-hospital based alcohol and other drug abuse treatment programs. Such as, outpatient/partial hospitals/intensive outpatient/residential; and, the 908 KAR 1:310 Certification Standards and Administrative Procedures for Driving Under the Influence programs.
Participants will be able to: 1) discuss the laws and regulations which guide clinical practice & supervision that pertains to social workers, marriage and family therapists, professional counselors, alcohol and drug counselors, psychologists. 2) demonstrate a knowledge base on the 908 KAR 1:370 Licensing Procedures and Standards for persons and agencies operating a non-medical and non-hospital based alcohol and other drug abuse treatment programs and, 908 KAR 1:310 3) define clinical supervsion & differentiate between the role of the supervisor and supervisee 4) discuss the expectations of the supervisee and supervisor 5) identify the benefits, approaches and methods of clinical supervision 6) develop and implement a clincially focused supervision contract 7) demonstrate a knowledge base of 201: KAR Code of Ethical Conduct and Practice 8) Preventing burnout
