This two day course is a very
stimulating and fast past learning experience for individuals who are
interested in developing a private clinical practice. You will have the opportunity to learn the
“how to” on how to begin and maintain a private practice. This workshop has consistently received
excellent reviews and individuals communicate that they are better prepared to
begin the process for business ownership.
You will have an opportunity to ask the questions and receive the
answers needed to determine how to focus, plan and develop your practice. This course has received excellent reviews

Participants will be able to
Identify the benefits and risk associated with a part-time versus a full-time private practice
Have a knowledge base on the permits and licensing, financial considerations, advertising and marketing factors for business operations
Develop a business plan
Develop administrative, financial and medical records documentation and tracking systems
Implement the appropriate process to contract with managed care and other third party insurers
Demonstrate a knowledge base on the professional standards of care as related to the professional code of ethics, and laws and regulations, which govern professional practice.
